CAD Drafting & Mechanical Design Outsourcing for Canadian Manufacturers

We support Canadian manufacturers — from Ontario machine shops to Alberta equipment builders and Québec manufacturers — with drafting, 3D modelling, FEA and reverse engineering. Drawings to ASME Y14.5 or ISO, in inch or metric, quoted in Canadian dollars.

Why Teams In Canada Outsource To Us

An Overnight Design Office For Canadian Teams

Canadian manufacturing sits between two worlds: US customers who expect ASME drawings in inches, and a metric national standard with growing European trade. We work in both, so you can send one supplier everything from an imperial weldment for a US customer to a metric part for a European one.

India is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of Toronto and Montréal, and 12.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of Vancouver. Work emailed at the end of your day is done during ours and waiting in your inbox the next morning. Calls are scheduled at the start of your working day.

  • Drawings to ASME Y14.5 or ISO GPS — whichever your customer specifies
  • Inch or metric units; third-angle projection by default, first-angle on request
  • Fixed, itemised quotes in CAD (or USD), paid by international wire
  • NDA before files are shared; PIPEDA-aware handling of any personal data
  • French drawing notes and title-block text from wording you supply, for Québec use
  • Most drafting jobs turned around in 2–3 working days

Working Across Borders

Built For The Way Canadian Teams Work

Overnight turnaround

Send at close of business, review in the morning. Bigger packages run on an agreed daily delivery rhythm so progress is always visible.

Dual-standard drafting

ASME Y14.5 and Y14.100 for US-bound work, ISO GPS and ISO 2768 for metric and European work, or your own drafting manual.

Safety-ready documentation

Guarding, frame and mechanism drawings plus calculations organised to support your CSA Z432 safeguarding review and customer approvals.

Confidentiality and export control

NDA before files change hands. If your data is covered by the Controlled Goods Program, ITAR or other export controls, it must not come to us — we ask you to confirm before starting.

Clear pricing in Canadian dollars

Each quote lists scope, deliverables, formats, standard and delivery date — no open-ended hourly billing.

One named engineer

You deal with the engineer doing the work, so knowledge of your product carries from job to job.

How An Engagement Runs

From First Email To Finished Files

  1. Send the requirement. Email [email protected] or use the quote form with drawings, sketches, models or photos, plus the standard, units and file format you need.
  2. NDA and fixed quote. We sign your NDA (or provide ours) and send an itemised quote in CAD, usually within one business day.
  3. Clarify before modelling. We list missing dimensions, tolerances, materials or ambiguities and agree them with you before work starts.
  4. Work and internal check. The job is modelled and detailed, then checked internally for drawing standards and manufacturability.
  5. Delivery and revisions. You receive native and neutral files; the quote states how many revision rounds are included.

FAQ

Questions From Clients In Canada

Do you draft in inches or metric?
Both. We follow whatever your customer or drawing standard requires — ASME Y14.5 in inches for US-bound work, or ISO GPS in metric. Mixed-unit projects are fine as long as the requirement is clear for each part.
How does the time difference work for Canada?
India is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of Eastern time and 12.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of Pacific time. Work sent in your afternoon is processed overnight and is usually back the next morning. Calls are scheduled at the start of your day.
Can you provide French text on drawings?
Yes. If drawings for Québec need French notes or title-block text, send the approved wording (or a previous French drawing) and we use it consistently across the package.
Can you work with controlled goods or ITAR data?
No. Data covered by Canada’s Controlled Goods Program, ITAR or other export controls must not be shared with a foreign supplier without authorisation, so we ask you to confirm your files are unrestricted before starting.
Do you quote in Canadian dollars?
Yes — fixed, itemised quotes in CAD (or USD if you prefer), paid by international wire transfer. Send the requirement and you get a firm figure, usually within one business day.
Can we start with a small trial job?
Yes, and we recommend it. One part or one drawing is the quickest way to judge our questions, quality and turnaround before you commit to a larger package.
