Industries

Sectors where we have delivered real projects

We do not claim every industry. The eight below are the ones where our engineers have designed, analysed or detailed equipment for clients, and each page shows the projects, the standards we draw to and what you receive.

Why sector experience matters

The fundamentals transfer; the details do not

Gear design is gear design whether it drives a crusher or a tiller. What changes between industries is everything around it: the loads a design must survive, the standards it is inspected against, the way it is maintained and what counts as finished. An agricultural gearbox is sized for shock from buried stone and serviced in a yard with hand tools; a plastics extruder drive is sized for continuous thrust and runs hot for weeks; a medical cart is judged on stability, cleanability and pinch points.

Sector experience does not change the calculation. It changes which questions we ask before the calculation starts, and that is what shortens the brief and removes the rework.

What we look for in a new sector

  • Mechanical design, drafting, analysis or fabrication documentation is the core of the work
  • There is a brief, a sample, scan data or drawings to work from
  • The deliverable is CAD, drawings, a report or cutting files
  • You can tell us what the design has to survive in service

Work we turn down is usually work needing a certification we do not hold or a domain where guessing would be dangerous. We say so early.
