Textile & Process Machinery Design
Stenters, float dryers, rotary screen printing machines, plaiters and solventless laminators: long, modular machines where chamber after chamber must share one fabric path and every roller must run parallel. We have produced complete OEM models and drawing sets for these machines, section by section, in the OEM's own CAD and template.

Modular machines need modular models
A textile finishing machine is ordered by the chamber: five chambers for one mill, eight for another, with the same entry, mangle, overfeed and exit sections at the ends. Unless the CAD is built as repeatable modules with a shared fabric path and width parameter, every order becomes a redraw. Our textile work is organised exactly that way, so an OEM derives a new line length or working width from the model rather than from scratch.
Process and converting lines (laminators, coaters, rewinders) have the same discipline with a different product: film or web tension, roller parallelism and nip pressure. We model roller groups as their own assemblies with bearing housings on machined pads so the structure holds alignment over the whole machine.
Typical scope
- Chamber modules with ducting, nozzle plates, chain rails and insulated panels
- Mangle, overfeed, entry and exit sections to bolt to any chamber count
- Rotary printing heads, repeat gearboxes and blanket drives in register
- Roller, nip and cooling assemblies for lamination and coating lines
- Fabricated frames with cut lists, sheet-metal panels with flat patterns
- Complete OEM drawing sets in the OEM template with tolerance tables
Standards we draw to in this sector
- OEM drawing templates and fabrication tolerance tables
- ISO 2553 weld symbols on frames and structures
- ISO 2768 general tolerances; gear data tables on drive gearboxes
- Third-angle projection as used by Indian and export OEMs
What you receive
- Native Solid Edge or SolidWorks assemblies per machine section
- DFT / SLDDRW drawing sets with BOMs and cut lists
- Sheet-metal flat patterns and DXFs
- STEP per section for the OEM's customers
- Check record against OEM inputs

Textile & Process Machinery case studies
Every project below was delivered by our engineers; client names are shown where we have permission and withheld under NDA otherwise.

Textile Stenter: Chambers, Mangle and Overfeed Sections
Engineering models and drawings for a textile stenter — 5- and 8-chamber heat-setting sections, entry and exit frames, mangle with trough lift and pressure rolls, and the overfeed feeding assembly — built in Solid Edge for a textile machinery OEM.

Two-Chamber Float Dryer and Plaiter Wall
A 60-inch two-chamber float dryer line with entry roll stand, after-washing table, auto printing head and a servo-lifted plaiter wall — 250 sub-assemblies modelled in Solid Edge with chain-wheel boxes, tie rods, pressure rolls and greasing lines detailed for the shop.

Rotary Screen Printing Machine (1620 mm)
Full machine model and drawing set for a 1620 mm rotary screen textile printing machine — printing heads, screen drives, repeat gearboxes, blanket drive and frames — produced in Solid Edge with photographs of the built machine as verification.

Solventless Lamination Machine for Flexible Packaging
Complete engineering of a solventless laminating machine — main structure, coating and laminating nip with cooling roll, film guide and support roller assemblies, trays and electrical panel — modelled in Solid Edge with a full fabrication and assembly drawing set.

Textile Machine Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering a textile machine with no surviving drawings — measured, modelled as a full assembly and re-documented for spare part manufacture.
